Based in Elizabeth, Colorado, Cheri Harjo-Dobbs contributes her Permanent Labor Certification Application (PERM) expertise to the overall work of Berardi Immigration Law. With nearly 20 year of immigration law experience, Cheri is a vital member of the Berardi Immigration Law team.
In 1999, Cheri Harjo-Dobbs obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Legal Studies & American Jurisprudence from the University of Houston-Clear Lake. That same year, Cheri began her career as a legal assistant at Quan, Burdette & Perez, P.C. (QBP) in Houston, Texas. In July 2000, Cheri was promoted to Supervisor of the Labor Certification Department at QBP. In August 2004, following a firm merger, Cheri began preparing and submitting applications for labor certification to the Department of Labor. Since August 2004, Cheri has worked primarily with the PERM process leading to permanent employment and permanent residency in the U.S. for many foreign nationals. In January 2017, Cheri decided to start her own PERM-Specialist Consulting & Training business. Cheri aids attorneys and employers with their PERM applications, she consults law firms for their PERM related matters, and she provides training on all aspects of the labor certification application process. Cheri truly enjoys handling the labor certification application (PERM) process.
In her free time, Cheri is spending time with her four sons, ranging in ages from 8 to 18 years old. Cheri loves traveling and has a passion for photography. Cheri enjoys not only watching basketball, but is currently coaching her 6th grader’s basketball team.
