Katherine Huppé

Paralegal

Berardi Immigration Law welcomes Katherine Huppé to its growing Paralegal team! Katherine (“Kate”) originally hails from Rochester, New York, and is our team’s newest Buffalonian. Kate graduated from SUNY Geneseo with Bachelor of Arts degrees in History and Political Science.  She told herself she would explore the legal field within five years post-grad. We are so thrilled she is doing so at Berardi Immigration Law!

Prior to joining Berardi Immigration Law, Kate felt called to work in the non-profit sector, and serviced her community through the Americorps VISTA program, which curates projects aimed to alleviate poverty in American communities. There, Kate spearheaded a project for Rochester Regional Health, where she helped conceptualize a new Multicultural Resource Center to provide people of all backgrounds access to critical information and resources regarding their health. Kate then spent the following year servicing Americorps VISTA as a mentor and resource to other volunteers.

At Berardi Immigration Law, Kate assists our attorney team with TN and L-1 work permits as well as marriage-based green cards. She also helps coordinate and schedule visa appointments for individuals around the world.

Kate is an avid Equestrian, currently active in the “eventing” circuit. In fact, while an undergrad, Kate was the captain of Geneseo’s Women’s Varsity Equestrian Team. Kate is kind, bright, compassionate, and community oriented. These qualities make her an absolutely perfect fit for our team!
