Berardi Immigration Law is elated to have Claire Russ on our team. Originally hired as an Administrative Associate, Claire held the fort down throughout the first year of the pandemic and kept our ship sailing smoothly during a hectic time for all. Claire tackled every phone call, FedEx shipment, scheduling matter, and supply order without a hitch. When Claire’s additional talents quickly became apparent, she was promoted to the role of Paralegal.
Being a Paralegal at Berardi Immigration Law is no easy feat. Under the direction of our attorneys, our paralegals prepare complete work permit filings presented before various governmental agencies, applications for extension of stay and work authorization for dependents, citizenship cases, marriage-based green cards, nonimmigrant waivers, and many other matters. Our Paralegals also assist with various visa appointment scheduling and coordination services. Furthermore, our Paralegals are required to keep up with the ever-changing policy/adjudication trends in the immigration world. Claire not only excels in these responsibilities, but is also a true team player who is always willing to lend a hand.
Prior to joining Berardi Immigration Law, Claire attended the College of Wooster in Ohio, where she studied Global and International Studies and Russian Studies. During university years, she participated in a Russian language immersion program (that’s right, folks, our do-it-all teammate also speaks Russian!), studied abroad in New Zealand (cue our jealousy), and played Varsity Field Hockey (don’t mess with Claire), all whilst writing theses and completing independent studies in her major.
Claire is celebrated around our office for her green thumb, love of the curling sport, and cool-as-a-cucumber demeanor. It goes without saying that Claire helps us keep calm and carry on!
