Senior Associate Attorney Gabriella Agostinelli recently had a successful L-1A application at the border. This application was unique in that the applicant had spent almost the full time allotted in L-1A status in the United States. The L-1A visa allows applicants to remain in the United States for a full seven years. Our client presented her application at the border in order to obtain that remaining time. In the application, we explained that our client had recently had a promotion, explained the number of direct reports she has in the states, and detailed her robust job duties in her managerial role. After presenting the application to Customs and Border Protection at the Peace Bridge in Buffalo, NY, she was successfully approved for the remaining time in L-1A status. If you are interested in applying for L-1 status or would like to learn more about it, please contact our office to schedule a consultation today!
