This application was unique in that the applicant had spent almost the full time allotted in L-1A status in the United States. The L-1A visa allows applicants to remain in the United States for a full seven years. Our client presented her application at the border in order to obtain that remaining time. In the application, we explained that our client had recently had a promotion, explained the number of direct reports she has in the states, and detailed her robust job duties in her managerial role.
