Two businessman using a digital tablet to discuss information in a modern business lounge

On May 9, 2018, our Associate Attorney Catherine Dines met a client in Fort Erie, Canada in order to help him prepare in presenting his L-1B visa application to Customs and Border Protection at the Peace Bridge in Buffalo, NY. The L-1B visa can be tricky, as it can sometimes be difficult to provide hard evidence that the applicant possesses specialized knowledge. In this case, Catherine was able to prove his specialized knowledge through his unique education and company documents detailing the advanced training process. At the meeting in Fort Erie, Canada, Catherine reviewed the full application with the client and let him know what kinds of questions he could expect. She also answered all of his last minute questions. We are happy to report that the client was successfully approved for the full three-year period by CBP!
