Rosanna’s Story
In 2005, Rosanna left a highly-coveted big-firm job to hang a shingle for herself in immigration law. Starting with a single client and a desk in a tiny apartment, Rosanna has grown her practice into an award-winning, multinational, full-service immigration law firm with thousands of clients around the world spanning countless industries.
A first-generation Italian-American, Rosanna built her practice with the vision of the Disney of Immigration Law. Like Disney, Berardi’s top priority is a positive client experience for all. Rosanna started her career as an Immigration Inspector at the Peace Bridge and soon after became an Immigration Trial Attorney for the legacy Immigration & Naturalization Service in NYC. Following this, she was Immigration Counsel at the State University of New York at Buffalo in the International Student & Scholar Services Office. Entering private law practice in 1998, she joined Buffalo’s largest law firm as an Immigration Associate.
Today, as Managing Partner of Berardi Immigration Law, Rosanna continues to identify emerging trends in immigration and adjudication procedures and leverages that knowledge for her clients and the public.
Berardi Immigration Law is certified both federally and by New York State as a woman-owned business enterprise, making us one of the few immigration law firms in the country to hold these coveted certifications. Rosanna was awarded Woman Entrepreneur of the Year in 2020, a national honor presented by Women Owned Law (WOL), an organization dedicated to supporting women entrepreneurs in the field of law. Also in 2020, Berardi Immigration Law was recognized as one of the Best Places to Work in Western New York. In 2023, Rosanna was named to Inc.’s Female Founders 200 List of “category leaders at the top of their game”.
Throughout it all, Rosanna is committed to her family and her community. When she isn’t spending time with her son, Salvatore, or husband, Jack, Rosanna is actively involved in promoting local organizations including Totally Buffalo, Ronald McDonald House, Special Spaces, and more.
