TN Management Consultant Case Summary 06.12.2018

On June 12, 2018, Managing Partner Rosanna Berardi met one of our long-standing clients in Fort Erie, Canada to assist him in preparing to present his TN application to Customs and Border Protection. Our client was filing a renewal application as a Management Consultant. Renewals in the Management Consultant category can be difficult, as CBP typically finds that a consultant who has been working for a U.S. company for several years may now be employed by that company rather than performing consulting. Luckily, in this instance, we were able to prove that the client was in fact consulting on several different ongoing projects for the U.S. company.
