Gabriella Agostinelli helps multinational corporations and business professionals navigate the movement of people across borders. As a Partner at Berardi Immigration Law, a nationally recognized immigration firm headquartered in Buffalo, New York, with offices in New York City, Newport Beach, Toronto, and London, Gabriella has spent more than a decade counseling companies on cross-border workforce strategy while guiding individuals and families through some of the most significant transitions of their lives.

Experience & Case Focus

Gabriella’s practice covers the full range of business-based immigration matters, including:

  • Corporate counsel — advising employers across the technology, healthcare and insurance, communications, and transportation industries on workforce immigration strategy
  • Temporary work visas — H-1B specialty occupation visas, L-1 intracompany transferee visas, TN visas for USMCA professionals, O-1 visas for individuals of extraordinary ability, E-1/E-2 treaty trader and investor visas, and B-1 classifications.
  • Permanent residency — employment-based green card petitions including extraordinary ability, traditional employer-sponsored PERM filings, and national interest waivers with significant experience in family-based immigration filings.
  • Criminal admissibility issues — analyzing and resolving inadmissibility concerns for clients entering the United States
  • Port-of-entry knowledge — significant experience with local customs for presentation of applications to U.S. Customs and Border Protection at ports of entry.

Since joining Berardi Immigration Law in 2014, Gabriella has prepared and overseen thousands of successful petitions for clients around the world.

Philosophy & Approach

Gabriella believes in treating every client the way she would want her own family to be treated. A third-generation Italian-American, she understands that behind every petition is a person carrying the stress and hope of building a life in a new country, and she never leaves her personality at the door. Clients can expect warmth, responsiveness, and relentless problem-solving: she doesn’t stop until she finds a solution. Her clients consistently describe feeling cared for, comforted, and valued throughout the process, and Gabriella, in turn, is deeply inspired by them.

Beyond the Office

Gabriella remains active in the immigration bar and with the local community.  She currently serves as a Board Member with Bridges From Borders, an organization connecting New Americans with the Western New York community. The firm’s resident foodie and people-person, Gabriella can usually be found in the kitchen perfecting her favorite bread recipe, tinkering in her garden, trying out a new immigrant-owned restaurant, or striking up a conversation with anyone and everyone. Above all, she is a dedicated wife and mom to two adorable little ladies, Gemma and Francesca.
