Lauren Vezina brings a passion for building strong teams, improving processes, and helping organizations operate at their best to Berardi Immigration Law. In many ways, Lauren has been part of a legal environment her entire life. She grew up watching her father run his own law firm in Jamestown, NY, and that early exposure to the rhythm and demands of a law practice has stayed with her ever since.
Prior to joining Berardi Immigration Law, Lauren held senior leadership roles overseeing business operations, financial management, process improvement, and organizational strategy. That experience gave her a broad understanding of how people, finance, technology, and day-to-day operations work together to support a successful organization. She now puts that knowledge to work across the firm.
At Berardi Immigration Law, Lauren supports the firm’s operations, financial processes, systems, and strategic initiatives. She particularly enjoys untangling complex challenges, understanding how all the pieces fit together, and finding practical ways to make things work better for both the team and the clients they serve.
Lauren earned her bachelor’s degree in Accounting from SUNY Plattsburgh, although accounting wasn’t always the plan. She originally went to college to study culinary arts before taking an unexpected turn toward business and discovering a talent for numbers, operations, and problem-solving.
A Western New York native, Lauren is happiest when she’s surrounded by people and loves creating opportunities to bring them together. An avid reader, she organizes two local book clubs and is always on the hunt for her next great read. She also has a strong creative streak, spending her free time gardening, making stained glass, trying new recipes, or diving into whatever project has caught her attention. She loves hosting and spending time with friends and family, especially her husband and their two Golden Retrievers, Hugo and Gus.
