Business immigration strategy for companies, entrepreneurs, and professionals, with particular depth in E-1 Treaty Trader and E-2 Treaty Investor visas, employment-based work visas, and permanent residency.

Rebecca Bentley helps companies, entrepreneurs, and professionals navigate U.S. employment-based immigration and permanent residency. As a business immigration attorney at Berardi Immigration Law, Rebecca handles complex corporate immigration matters for businesses at every stage, from early-stage startups to large multinational companies.

Experience & Case Focus

Rebecca’s practice covers a broad range of business-based immigration matters, including:

  • Temporary work visas — H-1B specialty occupation visas, L-1 intracompany transferee visas, TN visas for USMCA professionals, O-1 visas for individuals of extraordinary ability, E-1/E-2 treaty trader and investor visas, and B-1 classifications.
  • Permanent residency — employment-based green card petitions including extraordinary ability, traditional employer-sponsored PERM filings, and national interest waivers with significant experience in family-based immigration filings.
  • Family-based immigration — including naturalization applications
  • Cross-border representation — counseling Canadian professionals, executives, and investors entering the U.S. market, a cornerstone of Berardi Immigration Law’s U.S.–Canada practice

Philosophy & Approach

For Rebecca, every filing represents something bigger than paperwork: a business owner’s vision for expansion, a company’s next hire, or a professional’s plan to build a future in the United States. She considers it an honor to be part of each client’s journey and brings that sense of purpose to every case. Her academic focus on cross-border legal studies and global politics gives her a practical understanding of how international business and U.S. immigration law intersect, which helps her translate complex requirements into clear next steps for her clients.

Rebecca earned her Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from the University at Buffalo School of Law in June 2021, with a concentration in Cross Border Legal Studies.
