The manager in the dealership shakes hands with a young man in a light shirt against a new car.

Zach Ahlstrom, an Associate Attorney here at Berardi Immigration Law, recently had two successful applications presented to Customs and Border Protection located at the Peace Bridge port of entry in Buffalo, New York. Both applications were for management consultants. The first application was a renewal with the same employer. We were able to overcome the challenges in this case by proving to the government that our client would be consulting on a completely different aspect of the petitioning employer’s business. It was not a continuation of his previous assignment. CBP successfully approved his case for another one-year period. The second application was a bit unique. In this case, the petitioner was a car dealership in the U.S. hiring a management consultant from another dealership in Canada. The applicant had significant experience operating and running car dealerships in Canada. We were able to prove that the applicant possessed vast knowledge of car dealerships which would make him the perfect candidate for this consulting assignment. The government agreed and our client was approved for an 18-month period. If you are interested in applying for TN status or have questions about this visa category, be sure to contact Berardi Immigration Law to set up a consultation with one of our attorneys today!
