On September 10, 2018, our NAFTA Paralegal Sam Tiranno met two of our clients in Fort Erie, Canada in order to prepare them to present their TN applications to Customs and Border Protection at the Peace Bridge in Buffalo. The applications were fully prepared by our Associate Attorney, Catherine Dines Kettner. One of these TN applications was very unique. Generally, when submitting a TN application, the application is submitted by a U.S. Petitioner. In this case, however, a Canadian company petitioned for the beneficiary to enter the U.S. in order to perform prearranged activities for U.S. entities. Specifically, the beneficiary was a Management Consultant engaged to provide prearranged consulting services through his Canadian consulting company. Both TN applications were successfully approved by Customs and Border Protection for the full time requested.
