Serious researchers looking at computer screen in the lab

On Friday, March 9, 2018, our Associate Attorney Catherine Dines met one of our clients in Fort Erie, Canada in order to review his TN Scientific Technician. The TN Scientific Technician category can be a bit tricky, as it is not as straightforward in terms of required qualifications as some of the other categories. TN Scientific Technicians do not require a Bachelor’s Degree, but does require that the position must be in direct support of a professional in one of the sciences, and the position must primarily include activity consistent with the support of a science professional. Catherine was able to prep the client, fully review the application with him, and answer all of his last minute questions. The client was successfully approved for TN status for the full three-year period requested!
