The U.S. Embassy in London is expecting to drastically limit their visa services this summer and is encouraging applicants to apply for their non-immigrant visas this spring and early summer in an effort to avoid delays.
The summer months tend to be busy for all U.S. Embassies and Consulates and due to the Olympic Games, the U.S. Embassy in London will be offering limited visa services during the months of July and August. London has advised applicants to apply for their visas now and during the earliest part of summer as they cannot guarantee appointment availability during peak times. To accommodate applicants, the Embassy has opened their appointment calendar through the end of June.
Travelers who intend on entering the United States without a nonimmigrant visa under the Visa Waiver Program are urged to apply for travel authorization approval under the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) as soon as possible because, if registration is denied, a nonimmigrant visa will be required.
If you have any questions regarding the nonimmigrant visa application process or require assistance with scheduling an appointment at the U.S. Embassy in London please contact us at 1-877-721-6100 or send us an e-mail by clicking here .
