US/Canada Border Update (June 25, 2020)

Senior Associate Attorney, Gabriella Agostinelli, keeps you up to date on what’s happening at the US/Canadian border.  In her latest video, she confirms that CBP is still processing both new and renewal L-1s and TNs.  Although the border remains closed through at least July 21^st, Gabriella had three clients successfully apply for L-1 status just this week.  

Trusted Traveler programs including Global Entry, TSA Pre✓®, SENTRI, NEXUS, and FAST remain suspended.  We asked if CBP Officers were able to update the NEXUS system when they are adjudicating cases but they confirm that they do not have access to that system at this time.  If you have a NEXUS issue, you still have to wait until those offices reopen.  If you have questions on applying for TN or L1 status, or would like to renew your status, please be sure to contact Gabriella or any of the attorneys at Berardi Immigration Law today!
